Meet the Ventura Team Behind Lodgewick ADU Ventura
Most ADU projects in Ventura don’t stall because of materials. They stall because the crew in your backyard isn’t communicating, shows up late, or leaves you wondering who’s actually responsible for what. Our crew works differently. Everyone you’ll meet below is background-checked, uniformed, and answers to one standard: the 365-Day Done Right Promise, in writing, on every job. They know Ventura’s lots, setbacks, and coastal microclimates. And they’ll tell you the price before the work starts, every time.
Our People

Russ Delmar, Owner
Russ has been building accessory dwelling units and converting garages across Ventura County since 2010, and he still walks every job site himself before a written price is put in front of a homeowner. He’s the one who’ll draw out the setback math on a napkin if it helps you see why your ADU fits better on the north side of the lot. Russ runs Lodgewick ADU Ventura under The Kingswell Guarantee, and he’s known for saying that a written price is only as good as the crew who honors it. When he’s not on a site, he’s usually driving the coast checking prefab deliveries or arguing with a permit counter about a 14-day delay that could have been 7.
Marco T., Senior Installer
Marco has led framing and utility rough-in on ADU and garage conversion projects in Ventura for more than a decade. He’s the guy who can look at a 1940s garage slab on the Avenue and tell you within five minutes whether it can carry a second story or if you’re doing a new pour. Marco holds current OSHA 30 certification and specializes in prefab ADU assembly, including units from Abodu, Boxabl, and Mighty Buildings. Off the clock, he and his son restore old Vespas in a garage that is, as he puts it, “definitely not getting converted.”
Sofia R., Service Coordinator
Sofia is the voice on the phone when you call (831) 230-7250 at 9 p.m. to ask whether your permit set is moving forward. She runs scheduling, permit tracking, and material ordering for every Lodgewick ADU Ventura project, and she keeps the written pricing timeline updated as permits clear. Sofia handles the James Hardie siding orders and the Cover and Dvele panel shipments so crews never arrive to a job with half a wall stack. She grew up in Midtown Ventura and still claims no ADU sightline beats the one from a second-story unit near Cemetery Park.
Leo D., Apprentice
Leo joined the crew two seasons ago after completing a building trades pre-apprenticeship program. He works alongside Marco on footings, shear wall installation, and weatherproofing details, and he’s already known for keeping the cleanest job-site runs on the team. Leo is currently training on Tuff Shed and Plant Prefab unit foundations, and he handles the daily photo updates homeowners receive while their build is underway. He’s a Carpinteria kid who surfs Rincon before shift, which explains why he’s suspiciously awake at 6 a.m. deliveries.
One Standard, Every Job
Every person on this page follows The Kingswell Way, and that’s not a slogan. It means the price is stated before the work, the crew shows up in the window they gave you, the job site is left cleaner than they found it, and the guarantee is put in writing before the first board is cut. If something fails within 365 days, we return and fix it. Free. Russ enforces that standard personally across every Ventura project, from a garage conversion in Montalvo to a two-bedroom ADU on the east end. The crew changes by project size, but the guarantee never does. Call (831) 230-7250 and ask for Sofia. She’ll get your free estimate scheduled and answer the questions you actually have, in plain English.
